As we all witness life, we know it can be extremely hard. It can feel even more daunting at certain points along the way. The suffering of the human heart is something that needs to be heard and explored. As I walk alongside you in your journey of therapy, I offer you a space that you can call yours, and say the hard things out loud without the fear of judgment or bias.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic with emphasis on mindfulness-based practices, which brings attention to the deeper self emotionally and physically. I believe in addressing the way suffering manifests, while honoring the “suffering” starting with acknowledging its very presence. We will unravel what is making you feel shame, isolated, stuck, angry, fearful, impulsive or even fatigue and begin to build clarity of its existence in your life. You and I will work towards you becoming more connected to your unique process and minimize barriers to your desired state of being.
I treat individuals affected by a wide variety of different issues, including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, PTSD, sexual trauma, racial trauma, relationship issues, domestic violence, bias, and addiction and other possible harmful impulses.
